North County Savings Bank was first chartered in 1887 as Evansville Building & Loan Association. The Building & Loan was located in the former Pautler Hotel in Evansville, IL. In 1973 our savings institution was approved for a location in Red Bud, IL and it became our home office with a branch in Evansville, IL. The Red Bud office was originally located in the Ziebold Building at the square in Red Bud, which is now owned by TMW. At the same time the savings institution changed its name to North County Savings Association. Assets for North County Savings was at 5 million dollars in 1973. Our Savings Association primarily serviced savings accounts, CD's and home loans. In 1986 the bank built a new bank building in Red Bud and relocated to 100 Park Plaza in Red Bud where SK Gaming is now located. In 1991 we changed our name to North County Savings Bank. In 2000 we opened our third location in Ruma, IL. In 2010 we built a new bank building and it is our present location which is 411 West Market Street, Red Bud, IL. Today, our bank offers products for all your banking needs, such as checking accounts, reward checking accounts, senior and student checking accounts, savings accounts, CD's, home loans, car loans, personal loans, home equity loans, online banking and much more. Assets as of December 2023 were at $64 million dollars. We are proud to say we have no plans for any merges or changes.
